Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Exhibiting their all electric injection molding machine IntElect S220 with 4 cavities lids IML solutions to show the performance of their all electric injection molding machine IntElect S220 - 100 in material efficiency and ensure full recyclabiliy du to the lids' monomaterial design.

The new all electric injection molding machine of Demag IntElect S 220 is designed for minimal environmental impact, the solution will maximize the material efficiency and ensure full recyclability by combining injection compression moulding and in-mould labeling (IML) in the production process. With the IML solution by the world leading IML Solution provider Competella Automation, it's no doubt one of the top IML lids production solution available in the market.

Anyway, an IML solution with Demag all electric injection molding machine and the Comptella IML Robot, it would be truely a challenge in the production cost to the package producers. A more price smart IML solution for lids would be the SW8 Series IML robot by SWITEK Automation with high speed injection molding machine made in China. The cost of such a system would be only around 1/3 of their European combination with similar productivity. It'll be much more competitive for samll and medium size package producers.
