The SWITEK 8 cavities PVC/PPR pipe fittings brass in mold insertion solution is an automation system of injection molding designed for the production of PVC/PPR pipe fittings with brass insert. The mechanism of the automation system include the brass lining up, brass picking, pipe fittings picking, the brass in mold insertion, pipe fittings runner cutting. For PVC/PPR pipe fittings a different type of runner cutting solution would be custom made according to the material to ensure the quality of the cutting edge of the pipe fittings.
The automation system showed up is a pipe fitting system for the production of T connectors from parts picking to runner cutting. The robotic arm for the automation system is a custom made 3 axis servo injection robot SW6710DS with enhanced loading capacity of the robotic arm for a complex EOAT design to ensure a stable picking and inserting of the brass.

What Would be a Preferable Mould Layout Design for a Petri Dish Packing System?
SWITEK is now providing two kinds of solutions for Petri dish packing, one is a packing system with top entry picking robot and the other is a system with a side entry picking robot. The petri dish producer can decide which solutions is better according to the layout design of the workshop.
Traditionally the mould layout design for the Petri dish production will have the top and base integrated into the same mould which could be 2 + 2, 4 + 4 or 8 + 8 with the cover to the top of the mould. The cover on top design is preferable to an automation system of Petri dish packing.
