TopStar, the new comer of injection molding machine manufacturer from China, on showed their TEII360 hybrid injection molding machine with turn-key solution of 8 cavities cups high speed production at Chinaplas 2025.
The TEII series of injection molding machine is a new platform of which to be shared with All Electric injection molding for a clean production requirement or a Hybrid solution for an upgrading of hydraulic injection molding. For different products, TopStar provide different injection unit for an optimized injection process:
It's obvious that TEII series of injection molding machine represent the cutting edge technology of TopStar to compete in the thin-wall high speed injection molding market, but will him win out from this fiercely competitive market? As we know that for the thin-wall containers high speed injection molding, HMD SP Series of high speed hydraulic is no doubt the top choice injection molding machine followed up by Yizumi P series and Haitian H/F series with a lot more smaller brands such as Golden Eagle, Lisong, PowerJet. The joining of TopStar will make the competition of the thin-wall containers injection molding machine even harsher.
Anyway, good at system integration and specialized in the cleanroom building, TopStar will have more opportunities than their competitor in the new projects of whole factory automation and will provider the new comers of thin-wall container producing more choice.

Why it's not recommended to have an IML solution with more than 4 cavities for containers which request a wrap+bottom labeling?
For an IML container which request a wrap + bottom labeling will need 2 labels and request a reverse injection technology. With two labels means that there would be 2 sets of magazines and mandrel to stock and pick the labels for the containers. A four cavities design of the mold there would be sufficient space in the IML robot to fit in the extra magazines, but for more cavities mold design the size of the magazine will exceed the limit of the IML robot and will reduce the efficiency of the robot. It would not be an ideal solutions for Wrap + Bottom IML Solutions
