SWITEK new double arms robotic arm custom made for the stack mold parts picking is having the final in houst testing before delivery. The robot arm is an alternative double main arms 5 axis servo robotic arm out of the SWITEK standard version SW6715D which has the vertical stroke of the robotic arm increased from 1500mm to 1800mm to make it suitable for the injtection molding machine up to 1000T. With a payload up to 15kg, it's suitable for the picking and stacking of light weight parts such as the hangers from a stack mould by an injection moldign machine up to 1000T.
When we're talking about a stack mold, what will come to your mind first? The crazy cost? The complex maintenance or injection molding process? Yes the stack mold injection molding system is unfriendly to small and medium size producers of the injection molding, but for some parts such as the petri dish, the hangers or the large size plates, a stack mold injection molding system has overwhelming advantage against the single mold to maximize the productivity of the injection molding machine with mold cavities.
In a stack mold injection molding system, a double arms robotic arm can not only pick the parts from the stack mold but also more complex operation such as the plastic parts assembly. The same robot SW6718D was used in the children garden table injection molding and assembly system to finish the production process from the parts picking to the final assembly of the children garden table.
The SW6718D is the largest double arm robotic arm of SWITEK SW67 series of robot with a payload up to 15kg. It had been continually optimized both structurally and the control system. As one of the classical robotic arm for injection molding, the SW6718D has below advantages:

Anyway the SW6718D is a large size robotic arm for injection molding machine up to 1000T, a well lubricated system will help to ensure the safety of the injection molding system and make the maintenance of the robotic arms much easier.
To enable a more complex EOAT application, 4 Air In + 4 Air Out are installed to the robot to make it possible to be easily integrated into a complex injection automation system.
