Abstract

Since the first robotic arm for injection molding machine put on market in 2006, SWTITEK robotic arms for injection molding machine had been developing from the cylinder driven sprue picking robot to single axis servo robotic arm and then 3/5 axis servo robotic arm. The installation instruction here is for the SWITEK SW6/SW7 series 3/5 axis servo robotic arms with the control system HC-S3/HC-S5.

1.1 System Confirguration
  1. 8" colored LCD display with touch screen
  2. 3/5 Axis servo control board
  3. I/O Board
  4. Power Supply (2 suits)
  5. Communicating cablet
1.2 Installation Notes
  1. The wiring work must be done by a professional electrician
  2. Confirm that the robotic arm is power off when you're working
  3. Please installed on metal flame retardants and must be away from combustible materials
  4. Ground connection is needed for your safety
  5. When there's something wrong with external power supply, which may make the control system out of work, you must set a safety circuit
  6. Be familiar with the instructions before intalling, wiring, operating and maintaining of the robotic arms. Have a good knowledge of mechanical, electronic may help a lot when you use
  7. Installing the controller should have well ventilated, defending the oil and dust. If the electronic controller is installed in a close room, to prevent environment temperature goes high, a fan is necessary to make sure temperature inside the box is below 50°C.
  8. The controller mustn't be installed near to the relay, transfer etc. for these units are disturbing resources.
