IML Solutions, the Spain IML Robot manufacturer, released therir new IML robot for 2 Lids + 2 Boxs stack mould IML injection automation solution.

The IML Solutions released by the Spain IML Solutions is an IML Solution for stack mold. In this project the lids and the boxes were put in the same stack mould, one for lids and the other for box. To do the labeling and parts picking simultaniously, the IML Robot was designed a double armed one with two sets of magazine and stacking units.

The advantages of a stack mould solutions is that this solution can maximize the space and capacity of the injection molding machine, it would be more efficient in production and achieve a much better cosistence of the parts. But the cost of a stack mould would be much higher than the standard one, it'll need more investment in the facilities and is not friendly to small and medium size enterprise.

Started from 2009, SWITEK Automation provide a more flexible solutions of IML which is more friendly to small and medium size orders. With modular design, SWITEK IML Robot make the fast changing of the magazines and EOATs for different mould possible. In this case, the new comers into the IML containers business will be able to start their business with minimum investment.
