SWITEK new 4 cavities side entry IML robot for cheese started up successfully in IML production of IML cheese cups at a cycle time of 6.85s with in mold time of 1.5s.

The feature of the newly installed IML robot is that the stacking unit of the robot is a customized one to enalble the collecting 4 shots of the parts before puting down the IML cheese cups on the conveyor and stacking them. With this structure, it'll help to maximze the usage of the conveyor space and reduce the frequence of parts collecting.
